เกี่ยวกับเครื่องมือนี้

Verify that your microphone, webcam, and speakers work before an important call, stream, or recording. Watch a live audio level meter and waveform react to your voice, preview your camera with real resolution and frame-rate readouts, record a short clip and play it back to hear how you sound, and check left/right speaker channels with test tones. Everything runs locally in your browser — no audio or video is ever uploaded. ส่วนหนึ่งของ aukimi Fusion.

How to test your mic and camera online

Check that your microphone, webcam, and speakers work correctly before a call — entirely in your browser, with nothing uploaded.

  1. 1

    Test the camera

Click Test camera and choose Allow when the browser asks for permission. Your live preview appears with the actual resolution, frame rate, and aspect ratio.

  2. 2

    Test the microphone

Click Test microphone and speak normally. The level meter and waveform should move with your voice — aim for a level that peaks in the upper half without hitting red.

  3. 3

    Record and listen

Press Record, speak for a few seconds, then press Play recording to hear exactly how you sound to others.

  4. 4

    Check the speakers

Use the Left and Right buttons to play a tone on each channel and confirm both speakers or earcups work.

  5. 5

    Switch devices if needed

If you have several mics or cameras, pick another one from the dropdown — the test restarts automatically on the new device.

คำถามที่พบบ่อย

Is my audio or video uploaded anywhere during the test?

No. The test runs entirely in your browser using the standard getUserMedia API. The camera preview, microphone meter, and the record-and-playback clip never leave your device — nothing is sent to our servers, stored, or analyzed.

The browser is not asking for permission and nothing happens. Why?

You most likely blocked access earlier. Click the camera/microphone icon in the address bar (or the padlock), set Camera and Microphone to Allow for this site, then reload the page. On macOS also check System Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera/Microphone for your browser.

The meter does not move even though the mic is allowed. What should I check?

First make sure the right input device is selected in the dropdown — laptops often list several. Then check your OS input volume is not at zero and the mic is not hardware-muted (many headsets have a mute switch). If another app has exclusive control of the mic (some conferencing or recording apps), close it and restart the test.

My camera shows a black image. How do I fix it?

A black feed usually means another application is holding the camera (Zoom, Teams, OBS, a virtual camera driver) — close them and press Test camera again. Also check for a physical privacy shutter on the webcam, and on Windows verify Settings > Privacy > Camera allows desktop apps and your browser.

Why is the resolution or FPS lower than my webcam supports?

Browsers negotiate a format with the camera driver and may pick a lower resolution to save bandwidth or because another constraint (like frame rate) takes priority. We request 1920×1080 and display what the camera actually delivers — the FPS shown is measured from real decoded frames, not the advertised value.

How do I know how I sound to other people?

Use the Record button: it captures up to 10 seconds from the selected microphone, then Play recording lets you hear exactly what your mic picks up — including background noise, echo, and volume level. This is the same signal conferencing apps transmit.

Does this test work on phones and tablets?

Yes. It works in Safari on iOS and Chrome on Android, including switching between front and back cameras via the device dropdown. The page must be served over HTTPS (it is) for mobile browsers to expose the camera and microphone.
