Frequently Asked Questions
Is a browser DAW actually usable?
For writing, sequencing and mixing, yes — audio runs on the machine, not on a server. Latency depends on your audio interface and browser; a wired interface behaves far better than Bluetooth headphones, as it does in any DAW.
Can I plug in a MIDI keyboard?
Yes, through the browser's MIDI support. Sequencing, the piano roll and the drum machine all take live input as well as mouse editing.
What instruments come with it?
Virtual synthesizers and a drum machine, plus a mixer with effects and automation lanes. You can also record audio on multiple tracks.
Which formats does it export?
WAV for mastering or handing off, MP3 for a quick listen, and FLAC when you want lossless without the size of WAV.
Does it support VST plugins?
No. VST is a native desktop plugin format and cannot load in a browser tab. The instruments and effects here are the ones built into the module — that is a real limitation, not an oversight.
How does a track reach my video or my game?
Directly, inside the project: Fusion picks it up on its timeline, and Engine uses it as spatial audio or a soundtrack, with no export and reimport.
