Animate
Animation Studio
Overview
2D and 3D animation with rigging, keyframes, procedural generators, and export to any format.
Animate handles everything from simple UI animations to complex character rigging. The unified 2D/3D workflow lets you animate anything with professional keyframe tools, IK solvers, and procedural generators. Export to Lottie for web, sprite sheets for games, or video for any platform.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Animate for 2D or for 3D?
Both. The same timeline drives 2D artwork and 3D objects, with bone rigging and inverse kinematics on either side, so a rigged character does not need a different tool depending on how it was drawn.
How do I get an animation out?
Lottie for anything going into a website or an app, sprite sheets for game engines, and standard video for a flat render. A 3D animation leaves with its model in glTF or GLB.
Can I fine-tune the timing?
The graph editor exposes every curve; easing presets cover the common cases without touching it. Keyframe interpolation can be set per channel rather than per object.
Does it work with characters sculpted in aukimi?
Yes. A model from Sculpt, retopologised in Retopo and textured in Pigment arrives with its geometry intact — the armature you pose in Sculpt carries over rather than being rebuilt.
Are there procedural effects, or is it all keyframes?
Both. Procedural effects handle the motion nobody wants to keyframe by hand — secondary motion, cycles, noise — and you can still key anything on top.
Can I animate on a tablet away from my desk?
The interface adapts to tablet screens, and the timeline is usable with touch. Fine keyframe work is still easier with a pointer, and we would rather say so than promise otherwise.
